Hello,

What a delight to find the Crew Recognition page for the States Marine Lines. Please find attached a picture of my Father, Daniel J. Kobasic, a celestial navigator who spoke so fondly of his time on the Copper State. This photo was likely taken in the early 70’s in San Francisco. I also have navigation logs he kept from serving on the Gopher and Magnolia State vessels October 1968 - May 1969. Thank you for your efforts to keep some of these stories alive and personal - especially meaningful today which would have been his 74th birthday.
